Micro-optics based back focal plane imaging system
- Institute of Applied Optics, University of Stuttgart
This work presents a novel back focal plane imaging system leveraging micro-optics technology. By integrating miniaturized optical components such as microlenses into a compact and robust design, the system provides the potential of enabling a high-resolution back focal plane-imaging scheme with enhanced sensitivity and reduced system complexity. The proposed approach eliminates the need for bulky and expensive conventional optical components, leading to its potential applicability in spaces with limited spatial access and for applications that require extreme conditions.
