The creation of colored holograms in digital holography
- Institut für Angewandte Optik und Biophysik, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena
The reproduction of any color information principally can be done by mixing three basic colors in the color triangle. We show that a sequential recording of an object with three wavelengths (633nm, 532nm, 473nm) allows the recovering of the color information in the reconstructed hologram. We explain the need of the gathering of the relative intensities of the three colors scattered by the object to achieve a color similar to the original in the reconstructed picture.
