Digital holograms can be reconstructed optically with the help of LCoS microdisplays. The talk presents the influence of the discrete pixel structure of the display on the quality of the reconstructed image. In particular, the effects of the different pixel pitches of the camera and the display are analyzed. A method is proposed to use an LCoS microdisplay to compare similar objects holographically regardless the not coincident pixel pitches.
