So far the properties of Plasmon-like fields bound to cylindrical interfaces have not been analysed as completely as in planar structures. We present numerical studies of Plasmon-like field excitations in the proximity of cylindrical metal-dielectric interfaces at metal-clad glass-fibers or metal-clad hollow-core fiber capillaries. Our studies include the interplay of the plasmon- with guided modes giving rise to mixed waveguide-plasmon-modes and ARROW-plasmon-modes as well. In particular, the influence of different geometry parameters on the specific field pattern together with their complex propagation constant will be analysed. Our underlying mode-solver is able to solve Maxwell's equations rigorously for an arbitrary stack of cylindrical layers with complex dielectric constants and a common symmetry axis. Potential applications of our studies are in the area biophotonic sensing
